This look is basically the jazzing-up of a rather plain McQ dress. I've adapted the dress for winter with the Burberry coat and the brogue-style shoes and the bangles add a gothic twist!

When I saw this skirt I knew it was something I had to try working with! Originally, it had been seen as a full-length skirt inside day-time combs with flats. Sadly, I don't do low-key! I decided upon wow-factor heels and vintage jewellery with a Bill Blass flamenco top and the skirt made into a 50s debutante bottom-half. WOW!

This look is classic glamour at its best- the one-shouldered dress in the Dior print and those platform shoes with quirky detail are all fabulous pieces but elevated dramatically by the amazing colour. The flower is for wearing in the hair!

I have been wondering recently how women could jazz up their everyday looks to make them almost high-fashion yet still wearable. Well, to be honest, I think this look shows how it can be done. Bold accessories like the Chloe 'Joan' bag and that silver perforated bangle mix with the shoulder detail of the Anna Sui top for a fresh and on-trend daytime look.
